During a live performance, Honey Singh makes a royal call to Badshah, apparently reverting to claims held by Badshah concerning his comeback from the dead.
“That dude says my comeback isn’t happening. Then he goes on to acknowledge that he wrote my songs. And then he’s like, ‘Watch me read Badshah’s destiny,’ ” refers to Singh, with allusions to declimbing past catcalls about him and Badshah’s tracks.
Then he spit on the mic with an improvised couplet for his rival:
“Pichle saal meri taqdeer ne, kaiyon ke garoor hai tode. Ab tujhe comeback karna padega…”
Withdraw the mic, and let the crowd pronounce the following phrase-an expletive to Badshah-more tension to the situation.

Everyone saw that the clip immediately went viral, and comments came pouring in from fans who rallied behind Honey Singh, hailing him as the “OG rapper,” while others said: “Baap Baap hota hai.” Thus, the internet was divided but many sided with Honey Singh’s daring act.
Honey Singh Speaks on his Feud with Badshah
The explanation of the long dispute came now in a prior interview when Honey Singh stated that while Badshah had been mocking him for the past decade, he had not replied until now.
“A fight would normally happen when both parties are involved, but for 10 years, one guy kept abusing me, making songs about me, mocking my illness, and I never retaliated,” said Singh.
He unveiled that he was further egged on by his fans to talk.
“My fans shot me Dms saying, ‘Please speak up. This is about our dignity now.’ Thus [Badshah] went on to apologize, but that’s the person who says stuff and weasels out of it later. I don’t think of people like that as anything,” he further added.
