The backlash came after Ranveer’s comments regarding a stand-up show of comedian Samay Raina. In all of this, an emotional video went viral on social media platforms, showing him sobbing and saying:
“Sab kaam bandh ho gaya bh**od… I just feel guilty. My entire team got exposed because of me, and now everything has stopped because of my actions.”
A record clip also relates to ongoing public debate, coming from an old vlog where Ranveer expressed regret about exposure of his team to the coronavirus, which has now halted all their operations.
