The attention-grabbing incident captured live on video and posted on social media has fueled fury and outcry regarding racial discrimination in the airspace and beyond.

The Indian passenger saw the woman hurling racist epithets and obscenities at her during that flight. While the Indian passenger never walked into any sort of retaliation, quite the contrary happened to the woman. As things got worse, flight attendants had no option but to be summoned in to quell the situation. But the woman’s behavior only worsened and she was thus removed from the aircraft before takeoff.
