Mumbai has been the scene of a pure jaw-dropper, caught on tape at the city’s airport when a lady got physically harassed by an Ola cab driver after missing her flight. This viral footage went really viral across social media platforms, showing this lady chasing the driver, absurdly hurling abuse, and kicking and punching him.
Blames the Driver for Not Catching the Flight
This scenario supposedly started after the woman failed to catch her flight. However, instead of realizing how late she was leaving her home, the woman blamed the Ola cab driver and then got so enraged about missing her flight that she vented it on him which turned to a nasty fistfight.
The witnesses to the whole scenario along with video footages are looking at\\her publicly humiliate the driver who only ran leaving the blows to him. The lady keeps hunting him down and continues her aggressive acts. The driver tries to defend himself from blows but remains otherwise defenseless through all of it visibly distressed.

The chilling-cum-shared footage also went viral on the X (formerly Twitter) handle of the ‘NCMIndia council for Men’s Affairs’: platform whose aim is to promote men’s rights. The creed of the video was judgment against the woman’s actions as follows:’
‘This empowered and entitled woman has missed her flight because she did not leave home on time. But instead of accepting that she was at fault, she is now venting her anger at this @Olacabs driver. Life of these cab drivers is always at the mercy of female passengers.”
The entire post has gone viral and thousands are now commenting on it in outrage toward this woman’s actions. Many of the netizens condemned the incident and termed it “shameful” and demanded that strict requirements be enforced upon her by the authorities. Others paid attention to cab drivers, saying how they usually bear all of the anger from clients, even though they are service providers.
Mumbai Traffic Police Responds
While public anger was rising, the Mumbai Traffic Police came to respond to the viral clip by stating how it should be reported to the police at the nearest police station. Their official response was as follows:
“Request you to report the matter at the nearest police station where the incident occurred.”
There is still not much confirmation on whether the woman has been identified and whether legal action was or will be taken against her. No official statement from the authorities was issued on the case.

It goes viral and becomes open-ended controversy related to the safety of cab drivers in their accountability to passengers. Most netizens sympathized with the driver, pointing out that he is just exercising his profession and doesn’t deserve such treatment.
