Eagles Fan Caught on Camera Using Voodoo Doll Against Patrick Mahomes

Eagles Fan’s Voodoo Doll Sparks Super Bowl LIX Controversy

Super Bowl LIX took a strange turn when Patrick Mahomes, quarterback for the Kansas City Chiefs, was unable to perform against the Philadelphia Eagles, leading to some bizarre speculation about supernatural interference. A video widely circulating on social media showed a woman allegedly casting voodoo while in the stands at Caesars Superdome, earning the moniker “Super Bowl Witch” from fans. Some viewers said it was just a performance, whereas others wondered if perhaps some dark magic snuck in to help the Chiefs spirit their way to an appalling outcome. A viral video of an Eagles fan allegedly using a voodoo doll against Patrick Mahomes during Super Bowl LIX has sparked wild speculation. Fans are debating whether black magic played a role in the Kansas City Chiefs’ loss.

A Nightmare Game for Mahomes

Mahomes, 29, suffered through what must be rated as one of his toughest games, throwing two interceptions-including a pick-six by Eagles cornerback Cooper DeJean-and had six sacks and a fumble. “It’s going to hurt for a while,” Mahomes said after the lopsided loss. “But how can you respond from it?”

As Mahomes struggled, the video circulated online showing a woman clad in green-the Eagles’ color-rocking back and forth while stabbing repeatedly a voodoo doll dressed up in a Chiefs jersey with the No. 15 of Mahomes. The internet caught on quickly to the ‘Super Bowl Witch’ fantasy, revamping speculation.

“That doll is a representation of someone, so whatever she’s doing to that doll is also happening to somebody,” wrote one viewer. Some, on the other hand, were not so persuaded. “Sighhh, it’s just poking holes in dolls. It doesn’t affect real life at all,” said another. Yet another was calling for a ban against witchcraft, “Why is this allowed in the open now?”

Fans React: Superstitions Run Wild

Some fans took the alleged witchcraft seriously, others decided it was willingly amusing. Apparently, one fan suggested hiring her for the upcoming Formula One season. Another had this to say about it: “Football losses are now blamed on magic dolls—welcome to the world!”

Whatever happened, Randi Mahomes, the mother of Mahomes, remained stoically supportive. She took to social media to share, “Not the ending we wanted, but so incredibly proud of Patrick and this team. No matter what, I’ll always be your biggest cheerleader,” along with family pictures and pictures with celebrities like Lionel Messi and Kevin Costner.

A Super Bowl Mystery That Won’t Be Forgotten

‘Tis an incident, truly remarkable, which has found an altar in Super Bowl history; now the more solemn question is whether the “Super Bowl Witch” found any metaphysical influence in the affair. With Mahomes’ ever-soupy seasons awaiting, the strange story of voodoo, viral speculation, and the unforgettable loss will remain one of the weirdest stories in football lore.
