This whole ruckus has brought the Bageshwar Dham religious head Dhirendra Shastri to rant out on the two presenters Ranveer Allahbadia and Samay Raina for their controversial statements regarding the entire episode of “India got latent.”
Such an offensive comment went on his show and raised the roof when thrown charges of no respect for Hindu tradition and values.

Shastri condemns that,” What Ranveer Allahbadia and Samay Raina have done is condemnable. It was such foul that one cannot even tell and has to be taught a lesson such people are forgiven, purged from the hearts and minds.”
The same serious point out the interminable suffering on worldly comments, as in “India Has Got Latent,” and it captures the words of Shastri. The accountability cry made in these words truly represented the sentiments of many in the section that such an action deserved punishment.
However, this controversy sparked another round of debates about free expression vis-a-vis cultural sensitivity and responsibilities that should be accorded by a content creator towards the ethics in this regard. And that is how the political tempests are raging on this issue. Whether these two men will be made to publicly apologize or face some legal trouble is something that time will tell, but, in the meantime: words are very powerful things; they can break or destroy.
