YouTuber Ranveer Allahbadia, popularly known as BeerBiceps, is facing severe backlash after making an inappropriate comment on Samay Raina’s show, India’s Got Latent. The controversy continues to grow, with numerous individuals criticizing his comments even after he apologized. While the controversy raged, B Praak, who was to appear for Ranveer’s podcast, canceled his participation and strongly condemned Ranveer off with his remarks, calling them “pathetic.”

While sharing a video on Instagram, B Praak was disappointed in Hindi saying, “I was supposed to appear on BeerBiceps’ podcast, but we canceled it. Why? Because we have all seen how pathetic his mindset is-the choice of words he used on Samay Raina’s show.”
Then he goes on to further criticize Ranveer by saying, “this is not our Indian culture. What kind of stories are you telling about your parents? What are you even talking about? Is this comedy? Abusing people and teaching others to abuse? Oh, what generation is this?”
B Prak proceeded to call out Ranveer for being hypocritical, explaining that Ranveer talks about Sanatan Dharma on his podcast and invites spiritual leaders while also holding questionable views. “Ranveer Allahbadia, you talk about Sanatan Dharma, spirituality, and invite renowned personalities and saints to your podcast. Yet your thinking is so low? I fail to understand.”
B Praak also requested that creators need to be responsible and not promote such conversations. According to him, these conversations have a lot of influence on the younger generation.
Tanmay Bhat in a spat for calling out Ranveer’s spiritual claims

Amidst the whole hullabaloo, an old video of comedian Tanmay Bhat resurfaced where he lambasted Ranveer for his alleged claims of spiritual detachment. Tanmay declared him to be a “views-mad capitalist” and not someone really into spirituality.
In the clip, Tanmay accused Ranveer of being “ah, no one is more obsessed with views than you. You only care about the result.” He went on to criticize Ranveer for aiming higher and higher in public with a view to making more businesses under the name of spirituality on social media while allegedly renouncing all material pursuits.
What Sparked the Backlash?
The controversy erupted when Ranveer, acting as a guest judge on India Got Latent, asked a contestant an inappropriate question:
“Would you rather watch your parents have sex every day for the rest of your life or join in once and stop it forever?”
The remark sent netizens into a rage, accusing him of being a hypocrite for all that he stands for with self-proclaimed titles of spirituality. The political repercussions strengthened when people across the aisle, including the Maharashtra Chief Minister, vowed to take action against him.
While he remains hounded by unhindered adverse criticism, Ranveer’s career as a public figure and content creator seems to be in jeopardy. Only time will tell whether the controversy will perish by the wayside or have far-reaching implications on his career.
