Alwar: An Incident Report from Alwar, Rajasthan, said an 18-year-old girl was mauled by more than 8-10 stray dogs. The attack happened on a Friday evening when the girl was walking back home. The dogs hounded her, knocked her down, and bit her multiple times, eventually leaving her shocked. At around 6 PM on Friday, the victim, Navya (name changed), was returning home using her mobile phone. Out of nowhere, a bunch of stray dogs made a din and charged toward her. They surrounded her within seconds and did the terrible deed.
To save herself from this dire situation, Navya struggled with her legs and hands but the dogs became more enthusiastic about pulling her in different places. Finally, she fell to the ground, screaming to be saved. Her desperate cries reached the ears of family and neighbors, who somehow made it to the place and did manage to scare away the dogs.

The attack lasted around 15-20 seconds, during which time the dogs went for Navya eight times. She was most traumatized after the incident and remained in shock even after reaching home. She kept screaming and clung to her mother for several hours. For a long time, her body trembled, and she feared going outside the house the day after that.
This colony is on just the edge now after an attack against a stray dog.
Residents Confront Woman Feeding Dogs
Following the attack angry residents of JK Nagar confronted a woman in the locality who regularly feeds and looks after these dogs. With the repetition of dog attacks, the people lashed out at her and even knocked down her scooter in protest.
The locals say that they just have been complaining over and over again without the administration taking any action against the stray menace even today.
Incident Caught on CCTV, Residents Demand Action
Navya, who is now undergoing a physiotherapy degree, has a practical exam upcoming in two days, but she still could not dare to step outside.
Local people revealed that in the area, there is a house where numerous stray dogs are sheltered. These have been so many times attacked on the people, but no measurement has been being taken. Even though several complainants have filled the form, authorities have remained unresponsive.
All captured on CCTV, many residents were horrified by the footage as they watched it.
Call for Action Against Stray Dog Menace
This incident has raised serious concern with regard to stray dog management in Alwar. Locals are now demanding immediate intervention from the municipal authorities to curb such attacks from occurring in the future.
